General Assembly Bans Single-Use Plastic Products

The General Assembly of the Union of Progressive Micronations has banned single-use plastic products with the aim of protecting marine ecosystems and reduce landfill waste by banning the production, sale, and distribution of single-use plastic products across all member states.

Exemptions may be granted for medical or safety reasons by the General Assembly.

Member states are required to implement measures to ensure compliance, with penalties for violations.
