General Assembly Determines Policy On Generative AI Use
The General Assembly of the Union of Progressive Micronations has established a stance on the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) following the rejection of Proposal #3, titled "Generative AI Ban," which called for a total ban on all forms of generative AI within the union.
As a result of the proposal's rejection, generative AI is permitted within the union. However, member states may individually regulate or restrict its use within their territories, provided such measures comply with LAW 2-25.
Member states are required to implement reasonable measures to ensure compliance and penalties for violations.
